Pat McNelis is an experienced project engineer and operations manager at Brookfield Renewable U.S. since April 2023, focusing on tracking major maintenance and capital expenditure envelopes, with responsibilities in environmental management and project safety. As the Control Room Manager since April 2019, Pat oversees the remote operation of a diverse generation portfolio, including hydro, wind, solar, and battery storage facilities. Prior to this, Pat served as Chief Engineer at Kirby Offshore Marine, managing machinery for bulk petroleum transportation on the West Coast. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, completed in 2013.
