Ira Kirschenbaum MD serves as the Chair of Orthopaedics at BronxCare Health System since February 2008, where a full-service Orthopaedic department was established, significantly expanding surgical and outpatient services. Dr. Kirschenbaum also holds positions as Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Orthopaedic Experience & Innovation. In addition, contributions to multiple organizations include serving on the Board of Directors and as Senior Advisor for Gate Science, Inc., and as an advisor for The SwiftPath Program, LLC. Dr. Kirschenbaum is a Principal at DTC Healthcom and participates in the AAOS Board of Directors EHR Project Team. The educational background includes an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed fellowships, and executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Harvard Medical School.
