Rita Cox has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Rita is currently working at Bronson Healthcare as the System Director Quality & Patient Safety. Prior to this position, they held various roles at Bronson Methodist Hospital, including System Trauma Program Director from May 2015 to February 2022, and Trauma Program Manager from June 2006 to May 2015.

Rita Cox obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Spring Arbor University in 2007. Rita then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration (MSN. MBA) in Healthcare Administration from Madonna University between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Rita obtained certifications as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the IHI in February 2024 and as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in December 2023.
