Unji Mathur has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Unji began their career as the Head of HR & Corporate Services at Apex Housing Group in 1999. Unji then worked as the Interim Director of Human Resources at City of Westminster College, and later became the Director of Human Resources at United Response. In 2006, they took on the role of Human Resources Director at The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Unji then pursued BSc Product Design at Brunel University from 2008 to 2011. After completing their degree, they served as a Director at UMOIR Limited until 2014. Following that, they assumed the position of Interim Head of People Services at Phoenix Community Housing. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Executive Director of People & Culture at RIBA. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Transformation at Bron Afon Community Housing, starting in September 2018.
Unji Mathur obtained a BA Honours degree in Economics from the University of Manchester in the time period spanning from 1988 to 1991. Further education details are not provided, but it is known that Unji attained a First Class Honours BSc degree in Product Design from Brunel University London at some point. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Resource Management at Middlesex University.
