Karan Wadhawan is a dedicated professional with experience in global health and data analysis. Currently serving as a Global Health Intern at ACESWorld and as a Data Intern at BroadStreet Institute, Karan has previously contributed as a researcher at UPMC and as a research associate at Blood Systems Research Institute. In addition, Karan worked as a Life Science Research Assistant at Stanford, specializing in tumor biology and HIV-associated cancers, along with serving as an AmeriCorps*VISTA focused on community capacity building for at-risk youth in Orange County. Karan holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis. Further education was pursued at the University of California, Berkeley.
