Jonathas C. has a strong background in software engineering. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Broad (YC W21), where they are responsible for bringing financial independence and global inclusion to Brazilians. Prior to this, they worked as an IoT Software Engineer at O.S. Systems from 2019 to 2021, where they designed, implemented and maintained reliable and scalable software solutions for IoT devices. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Bolsista de Iniciação Científica at Universidade Federal de Pelotas, where they implemented and evaluated Concurrency and Parallel algorithms using Haskell implementations and tweaking the Glasgow Haskell Compiler.

Jonathas C. attended Universidade Federal de Pelotas from 2015 to 2021, where they earned a degree in Ciências da Computação. Jonathas's field of study included Concurrent Programming, Functional Programming, Transactional Memories, and Fuzzy Logic.
