Dennis Altman has extensive experience in structural engineering, currently serving as the Norfolk Division Manager and Senior Structural Engineer at Britt, Peters and Associates since April 2016. Prior to this role, Dennis held the position of Structural Engineer V at Burgess & Niple from April 2010 to March 2016, where responsibilities included performing structural calculations and reviewing structural drawings. Dennis was also the Director of Structural Engineering at Speight, Marshall & Francis, P.C. from June 2002 to March 2010, overseeing project management and design of structural systems in buildings. Earlier experience includes a role as Structural Engineer II at Tee Lok (now MiTek), focusing on wood truss design, and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Clemson University. Dennis earned a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan University.
