Luke Saywood is an experienced professional in the fields of CCTV and network infrastructure, currently serving as the Head of Visual Services Network & Infrastructure at British Transport Police since September 2014. This role involves the strategic design and delivery of CCTV services, enhancing safety and security for the railways in Great Britain. Prior to this position, Luke held roles as National CCTV Network & Infrastructure Manager and CCTV Network Engineer, contributing to the police force's mission of providing reliable transport security. Luke's earlier experience includes working as an Audio Visual/IT Technician at TVS Electronics and serving as an Apprentice Electrical Engineer at the Metropolitan Police. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from BPP University and a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from London South Bank University, alongside other relevant qualifications.
