Sonia Jordan-Kirwan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and sectors. Sonia began their career as a Representative to the UK at the European Youth Parliament in 2004. Sonia then worked as a Public Affairs Intern at Cohn & Wolfe in 2008. In 2010, they served as a Translator at the United Nations Volunteers. Sonia then joined the European Commission as a Policy Trainee in 2011 before working as a Seconded Policy Analyst at the Labour Party in 2012. Sonia then joined British International Investment, where they held various roles including Executive, Manager, and Gender Finance Lead before becoming the Head of Gender & Diversity Finance in 2023. Sonia also serves as a Board Member at 2X Global starting from 2023. Sonia Jordan-Kirwan has a BA degree with First-Class Honours from Durham University. Sonia also obtained an MPhil with Distinction from the University of Cambridge.
