Judy O'Sullivan has extensive work experience in the healthcare sector. Judy started their career as a Cardiac Nurse at the Royal Brompton Hospital in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Judy then joined the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in 2002 and held various roles, including Senior Cardiac Nurse, Heart Helpline Manager, Head of Heart Matters, and Assistant Programme Director. Judy became the Director of Services and Clinical Lead at BHF in 2015, where they oversaw the delivery of innovation funding streams to support better health and care for people affected by heart and circulation diseases. In 2019, they took on the additional role of Director of Health Innovation Programmes, overseeing major funded health programs.
Judy O'Sullivan completed their education in a chronological manner. Judy first pursued a degree in Nursing, specializing in Cardiac Nursing, at King's College London from 1997 to 1998. Judy then obtained a Master's degree in Health Promotion at King's College London from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they pursued Post Grad studies in Public Leadership and Management at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2011 to 2013. Finally, in 2017 to 2018, they attended the King's Fund London for the Cascading Leadership Programme, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
