Simon J. Leeming is an accomplished professional in the field of mining and surveying, currently serving as Chief Surveyor & Mine Estates Manager at British Gypsum since August 2022. Previously, Simon held various roles at The Coal Authority, ultimately becoming Head of Mining Information and managing large teams to deliver strategic mining data and projects. Simon's extensive experience includes managing compliance with mining regulations, leading surveying functions, and developing stakeholder relationships. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Nottingham Trent University and a BSc in Surveying for Resource Development. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Rural Estates and Land Management at Harper Adams University, Simon continues to enhance expertise in the industry.
