Roman Roth is a Software Developer at the British Geological Survey, responsible for managing a £300k budget, reviewing proposals, and monitoring project progress, achieving the lowest underspend in the program's history. Previously, Roman worked as a GIS & Earth Observation Specialist at the University of Leicester, collaborating with Small and Medium Enterprises in the East Midlands to address their geospatial technology needs and developing training materials. Roman holds an MSc in Geographical Information Science from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Zoology with Industrial Placement from Durham University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Frankfurt International School.
