Paul Hewitson is an experienced engineer with a background in smart energy and aircraft maintenance. Since October 2014, Paul has worked at British Gas as a smart energy expert, specializing in the installation of electric and gas smart meters. Prior to this role, Paul served in the Royal Air Force from 2002 to October 2014, where responsibilities included working as a Survival Equipment Fitter and Aircraft Surface Engineer, performing tasks such as surface preparation and application of various coatings. Additionally, Paul's experience in the RAF included servicing pilots' oxygen masks and flying helmets. Paul holds GCSEs in Maths, English, Science, and Art from Ashlawn High School and a City and Guilds qualification in Electronics from East Warwickshire College.
