Andy Williams is the Chief Operating Officer at British Council. Andy has been with the company since September 2015 and in their current role, they are responsible for 15 countries in the Wider Europe region. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Poland and the Director of Operations for the EU. Andy has also been a member of the British Council's Management Board.
Andy Williams' educational career includes a degree in organizational leadership from Henley Business School, a degree in strategic management from Cranfield School of Management, a PG diploma in English language teaching management from the University of Surrey, and a BA (Hons) in drama from the University of Winchester.
They work with Andrew Horton - Director Digital, Partnerships and Innovation, Mark Walker - Director of Transformation, and Mark Robson - Director English and Exams. Andy Williams reports to Kate Ewart-Biggs, Interim Chief Executive.
