Paul Hayes is a seasoned communications professional and local government leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Regional Communications Manager at the British Business Bank since December 2022, Paul previously held roles as a Councillor for Wirral Council from May 2007 to May 2023, achieving multiple re-elections and serving on numerous committees, including as spokesperson for Children's Services. Prior to this, Paul was Regional Communications Officer at McDonald's from October 2015 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing regional communications and campaigns. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Department at Matrix Solicitors, where Paul established a new department, and as Senior Caseworker in the House of Commons, managing constituency office operations. Paul holds a PG Dip in Law from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Sheffield.
