Ben Jones is an experienced professional in biomechanics and performance analysis, currently working as a Biomechanist and Performance Analyst at UK Athletics since November 2021. Prior to this role, Ben held multiple positions at Centrica, including Pricing Analyst and Strategy Analyst, where significant contributions were made to sales models, pricing metrics, and strategic development. Ben's analytical expertise extends to risk and reporting, having led initiatives in sales forecasting and risk premiums at British Gas Business. An advocate for education, Ben served as a peer mentor at the University of Exeter, helping students enhance their mathematical skills. Ben is currently pursuing a PhD in Sports and Exercise at both Sheffield Hallam University and La Trobe University, following an MSc in Sports Biomechanics from Loughborough University and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Exeter.
