Martin Lawes serves as the Primary Trainer and Programme Director of the Integrative GIM Training Programme in London since January 2015. In this role, Martin offers specialized training in The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) for various qualified professionals. Since 2000, Martin has also been a Music Psychotherapist at Weldmar Hospicecare, providing therapeutic services and staff training. Martin has developed Continuing Professional Development workshops in collaboration with the British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) and acts as a registered music psychotherapy supervisor. In addition to positions at The Sheiling School and various NHS facilities, Martin has contributed as a Visiting Lecturer for multiple UK Music Therapy Master's programs. Martin’s educational background includes fellowships and diplomas in music therapy, psychodynamic counselling, and performance studies.
