Kevin Newsham is a senior research scientist at the British Antarctic Survey, focusing on the impacts of environmental change on soils in polar regions. Kevin also serves on the editorial advisory board of Global Change Biology and was an adjunct professor in mycology at The University Centre in Svalbard. Additionally, Kevin has experience in fungal ecology, having guest edited a special issue on fungi in extreme environments. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Mycology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, along with a BSc in Microbiology.
