Gunars Lazdans has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Gunars is currently employed as a Frontend Engineer at Brite Payments, starting in November 2022. Previously, they worked at The Workshop - Inventors of Play from January 2020 to November 2021 as a Frontend Engineer and from June 2018 to January 2020 as a QA Engineer. Before that, Gunars worked as a Software Test Engineer at Tele2 Shared Service Center from October 2015 to January 2018 and at SOAAR from September 2013 to October 2015. Gunars also served as an IT Specialist at Riga Business School from January 2012 to August 2013.

Gunars Lazdans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 2010 to 2014. In addition, they obtained certifications including "Angular - The Complete Guide (2022 Edition)" from Udemy in April 2022 and "ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2016.
