Rebecca Scanga has over 25 years of experience in clinical operations, currently serving as the Global Regional Clinical Operations Business Lead and Team Lead for SMP Authors at Bristol Myers Squibb since September 1998. In this role, Rebecca leads a global team of experienced SMP Authors, focusing on risk-based monitoring practices. Previous responsibilities included enhancing quality and processes as the Lead Site Monitor Team Lead, and contributions to protocol and study process improvements across therapeutic areas. Prior to Bristol Myers Squibb, Rebecca held positions at Cell Pathways, Inc. and Somatogen, contributing to clinical research and quality assurance. Rebecca holds a B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
