Conor Layden is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical process engineering. Currently serving as Director of DS Biologics Process Engineering at Bristol Myers Squibb since July 2015, Conor has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Associate Director and Process Engineering Manager, focusing on the design, construction, and startup of biologics facilities. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Pfizer as Process Design Lead, where Conor oversaw the development of a new downstream purification suite and performed facility fit assessments for new product introductions. Previous positions include Senior Process Engineer at Jacobs Engineering, where Conor participated in vaccine production suite designs, and earlier roles at DPS Engineering and Kvaerner, focusing on commissioning and the design of biopharmaceutical facilities. Conor holds degrees from Dublin City University and the University of Birmingham.
