Chelsea August is an experienced professional in the arts and performance sector, currently serving as the Administration Coordinator QLD at Musica Viva Australia since January 2024, where a passion for chamber music and talent nurturing is central to the role. Concurrently, Chelsea works as a Visitor Services Officer at Brisbane Powerhouse, which is renowned for contemporary culture and art. In recent positions, notable roles included Front of House at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Rehearsal Observer at La Boite Theatre, Primary Drama Instructor with shake & stir theatre co, and Associate Producer at Belloo Creative. Chelsea's directorial experience extends to various productions, including work with Brisbane Festival and several roles at La Boite Theatre and Interstage. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from Queensland University of Technology, obtained in 2021.
