Jason Nelson has a strong background in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure. Jason is currently working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Brinqa, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at the same company from March to September 2022.

From 2014 to 2022, Jason worked at Indeed.com as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, they focused on identifying process bottlenecks in production operations and automating them. Jason also worked on various projects with a global impact.

Jason Nelson has a diverse education history. Jason attended San Antonio College from 2009 to 2011 and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended Fullerton College from 1995 to 1997 but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Jason completed their high school education at Esperanza High School from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jason has obtained several certifications. In July 2009, they earned a CMDBA certification from MySQL. Then, in August 2007, they obtained an RHCE certification from Red Hat. Most recently, in February 2021, they acquired an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
