John Hodge has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. John began their career as a Network Operations Center Engineer at The Planet, where they provided support to hosting clients and developed a customer support portal. John then worked as a Help Desk Technician at Heritage Auctions, assisting with technology services deployment and providing desktop support. After that, they joined CIBER Inc. as a Customer Support Technician.

In 2007, John became an independent contractor and owner of Briardale Landscape Co., where they designed and implemented a web-based management system for the business. John also implemented a VoIP PBX system to improve customer interaction. John then transitioned to a role as a Web Applications Developer at All Smiles Dental Centers, developing applications and reports and providing support for the Dentrix practice-management system.
