John Hergenroeder is a seasoned software engineer and engineering manager with significant experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Brilliant.org since February 2021, John has previously held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at both the Democratic National Committee and Google, as well as Software Engineer roles at Hillary for America, Stripe, and FactSet Research Systems. John also completed a three-month sabbatical at the Recurse Center, where various programming projects were undertaken. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, where residential advising experience was gained during academic tenure.
