Kara Roost is an experienced professional with a diverse background in program management, publishing, and education. Since September 2011, Kara has held various roles at Brilliance Publishing, including Program Manager, Catalog & Metadata Specialist, and Senior Proofreader. From May 2016 to May 2023, Kara served as a Colorguard Instructor for the Buccaneer Marching Band at Grand Haven Area Public Schools, responsible for writing routines, organizing logistics, and mentoring high school students. Prior experience includes roles as Merchandise Supervisor at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, Circulation Assistant and Copy Editor at Grand Valley State University, and Clerical Assistant at Alta Professional Insurance. Kara holds a degree in English Language & Literature from Grand Valley State University.
