Aiyang Tao has over 18 years of work experience in the biostatistics field. Aiyang is currently serving as the Head of Biostatistics and Programming at Brii Biosciences since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BeiGene as a Director from March 2019 to October 2022. Aiyang started their career at Novartis in 2003 and held the position of Biostatistician, Associate Director until March 2019.

Aiyang Tao obtained a Ph.D in statistics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. They also have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Statistics from Rutgers University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps" from LinkedIn in 2023.
