Samantha Nelson has worked at three different companies since 2014. Samantha began their career at The Castle Theatre as an Intern: Assistant Event Coordinator. Samantha then moved to Four Seasons Health Club, where they held the roles of Aquatics & Recreation Manager and Administrative Support Specialist. Most recently, they have been employed at brightwheel as a Customer Onboarding Specialist and a Customer Onboarding Coordinator.

Samantha Nelson attended Illinois State University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management. Samantha then returned to Illinois State University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Master's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies. Before attending Illinois State University, Samantha Nelson attended Black Hawk College from 2008 to 2010, where they earned an Associate's degree.
