Kevin Dugan has had extensive work experience in various communication and marketing roles. Kevin is currently the Director of Content Marketing at BrightView, where they strategically utilize content to combat addiction and eliminate stigma. Prior to this, they served as a Brand Marketing Mentor at The Brandery, helping start-up companies shape their brands. In 2008, they founded Cincinnati Social Media, an event that brought together social media experts and newcomers. Kevin also worked as the Head of Communications at Aeroseal, a climate tech company focused on reducing carbon emissions. Kevin held the position of Senior Global Communications Executive at Apex Supply Chain Technologies, overseeing public relations, content marketing, and social media efforts. Additionally, they taught a course on content marketing at the Reynolds Journalism Institute, and served as the Director of Content at Magnetic Content Studios. Kevin has also held leadership positions at Media is Power, The Empower Group, and Powerhouse Factories. Throughout their career, they have worked with a diverse range of industries, including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, and more.
Kevin Dugan's education history starts with their attendance at St. Xavier High School from 1984 to 1988. Here, they did not obtain a degree or focus on any specific field of study.
After high school, Kevin enrolled at the University of Dayton, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from 1989 to 1992. During their time at the university, they focused on Communications and Marketing as their field of study.
In addition to their formal education, Kevin Dugan obtained a certification called Accredited in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in January 1995.
