Omer Darsot began their work experience in 2011 as a Sales Associate and Cashier at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they maintained merchandise inventory and ensured smooth daily operations. They then worked as an IT Computer Lab Assistant at College of Lake County from 2011 to 2013, where they provided support for IT service desk and assisted with daily IT lab operations. In 2015, Omer worked as a Junior IT Business Consultant Intern at Experiential Learning Center at Northern Illinois University. They then joined True Value Company as an IT Business System Analyst and Software Developer Intern, where they led projects, gathered user and business requirements, and conducted interviews and surveys. Omer's most recent role, which they started in 2016, is as a Senior IT Software Quality Assurance Analyst at BrightStar Care.

Omer Darsot completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business with a concentration in Business from the College of Lake County from 2010 to 2013.
