Alex Gallegos has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. In 2003, they began their career as a Science Teacher at Perspectives Charter Schools. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at the Museum of Science and Industry, where they played a role in developing a 25,000 SQFT exhibit focused on human health and wellness. Alex also worked on the Science Minors Program during their time at the museum. In 2010, Alex joined the Lincoln Park Zoo as the Manager of Community Relations, where they successfully implemented strategies to attract African American and Latino audiences. In 2015, they ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Forsa Training Fitness, LLC, a small business where they handled various responsibilities, including marketing, customer service, and strategic partnerships. From 2016 to 2018, Alex also served as an Assistant Soccer Coach at Holy Trinity High School in Chicago. In 2021, they moved on to become the Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing at The Resurrection Project. Most recently, in 2022, Alex started working at Brightpoint as the Director of Strategic Communications.
