Alex Ramsay is a seasoned football professional currently serving as the Goalkeeping Scouting Manager at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club since July 2023. Previously, Alex held the position of Head of Football Operations at GRiT Sports Management from June 2021 to July 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Shrewsbury Town FC, where Alex was the Lead Professional Development Phase Coach and Lead Youth Development Phase Coach from February 2017 to June 2021. At Swansea City Football Club, Alex worked as the U23 Goalkeeper Coach and U16/U18 Goalkeeper Coach from September 2014 to January 2017. Alex began a professional playing career at The New Saints Football Club from May 2011 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a BTEC National Diploma in Sport from Walford and North Shropshire College and completion of studies at Llanfyllin High School.
