Sarah Swiderski is an experienced Youth and Teen Services Librarian at Salem-South Lyon District Library since March 2018, where responsibilities include planning storytimes and educational programs to promote childhood literacy. Currently serving as a Substitute Librarian at Brighton District Library, Sarah has previously held positions including Michigan Maker at the University of Michigan, where engagement with elementary students focused on a Maker-Mindset, and Public Library Associate at Ann Arbor District Library, assisting with youth programming and patron services. Prior experience includes roles at DeWitt District Library and Capital Area District Libraries, encompassing youth program development, circulation management, and patron account assistance. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Writing from Saint Mary's College.
