Thomas Mwakibinga is a highly experienced technology professional with extensive expertise in firmware and embedded systems. Currently serving as a System z Firmware Development Engineer at IBM since October 2019, Thomas also holds the position of Director of Embedded Technology at BrightLot, focusing on vehicle monitoring. Previous roles include Senior Firmware Engineer at LynQ, where Thomas worked on smart compass technology, and Senior Embedded Software Engineer at GAL Manufacturing Company LLC, responsible for elevator controller systems. Thomas's earlier experience includes significant positions at Siemens, where contributions were made to rail automation and fire safety systems, as well as a firmware engineering role at Lexmark developing color laser printer controllers.
