Kurtis Sluss has held various positions in the engineering and medical device industries since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Resident Assistant at Purdue University Residences, where they motivated students for academic and personal success and mediated conflict resolution between roommates from different cultural backgrounds. In 2014, they became a Design Engineer at MegaJoule Storage Inc. In 2015, Kurtis was both a Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineer at Swift Fuels, LLC, as well as a Research & Development Engineer at MorNuCo, Inc., where they engineered a method of cancer biomarker detection with 99.3% accuracy utilizing Raman spectra. Kurtis also founded and became CEO of Brightlamp, Inc., a digital medical device development firm that uses SaaS modeled diagnostic technologies to disrupt the medical device sector.
Kurtis Sluss earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Purdue University between 2011 and 2016.
