Mike Villella has a diverse work experience spanning various companies in the finance and insurance sector. Mike began their career at Northwestern Mutual in 2007, where they worked as an Actuarial Associate until 2012. Mike then served as an Assistant Actuary and later as an Actuary, focusing on annuity pricing. In 2015, Mike joined MetLife as a Director and Actuary in their Life Product Development division, where they worked until 2017. Mike then moved to Brighthouse Financial, taking on the role of Director and Actuary in Life Product Development. Mike later became the Leader & Illustration Actuary for Life Pricing, and currently, they hold the position of Head of Life Product Development.

Mike Villella attended Robert Morris University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science. Additionally, they have certifications including Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries.
