Rebecca Parry

Seed Specialist/crop Development at BrightFarms

Rebecca Parry is an experienced professional in environmental science and education with a diverse background in ecological analysis, water quality monitoring, and crop development. Currently serving as a Seed Specialist/Crop Development at BrightFarms since January 2023, Rebecca manages seed inventory and conducts variety trials while also contributing to research on hydroponic technologies as a Research Assistant. Prior roles include serving as the Stream Quality Monitoring Coordinator for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating volunteer efforts and conducting ecological assessments of Scenic Rivers. Rebecca's experience also includes working as a Laboratory Technician at the Warren County Water and Sewer Department, engaging in educational programming as a Substitute Teacher, and researching arctic ecosystems during a Master's thesis project. With a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Rebecca brings a strong academic foundation to their professional endeavors.
