Chris Hafley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Chris began their career as a Software Developer Intern at Snap-on Business Solutions in 2013, where they improved the time efficiency of a quality assurance application. In 2014, Chris worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Rosetta, gaining experience in enterprise website development and collaborating on a pro-bono website project. Chris then worked as a Peer Tutor at Case Western Reserve University, assisting students in learning Java and data structures.
In 2015, they joined Expand Interactive as a Front-End Engineer, utilizing Angular.js to create complex and dynamic front-end interfaces and introducing consistent methods for creating encapsulated components. Chris continued their journey as a Software Engineer at Securable.io in 2016, before transitioning to OnShift in 2017 as a Frontend Developer. During this time, they also worked on a freelance/contracting basis as a Software Engineer. Chris joined BrightEdge in 2019 as a Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.
In addition to their professional experience, Chris also served as a Full Stack Developer Teaching Assistant at Case Western Reserve University, providing support and guidance in coding and development.
