Andy Betts has extensive work experience in various senior-level and C-level advisory roles in marketing and technology companies. Andy served as an Executive and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Advisor at a company from September 2009 onwards. In 2012, they joined BrightEdge, where they held C-level positions related to marketing, content, industry and strategy, communications, and media consultancy.
Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, Betts worked at Linkdex as a C-level Consultant, focusing on strategy, marketing, and development. Andy was responsible for building processes and marketing plans and promoting Linkdex in new markets. Andy also engaged in freelance consulting and business acquisition for marketing and public relations ventures.
In 2011, Betts worked as a C-level Consultant at Experian - Techlightenment, specifically on Alchemy Social's business development and content marketing project. Before that, they served as a Vice President (VP) Consultant at IgnitionOne from November 2009 to July 2011, where they provided expertise in strategy, content marketing, and business development.
Betts also has prior experience in senior management roles, including Senior Director positions at Publicis Groupe, Google (Performics International - DoubleClick), Latitude, and Sage Software. Andy played a critical role in building and developing a start-up into Europe's largest search marketing agency while at Latitude, managing strategic sales, marketing, and account management departments.
Earlier in their career, Betts worked as a Senior Account Director at Sage Software and as a Business Development Director for EMEA at Organisation Metrics.
Throughout their career, Betts has demonstrated strong expertise in marketing, content, strategy, and business development, working with various high-profile companies in the industry.
From 1993 to 1996, Andy Betts attended The University of Huddersfield where they completed a BA(Hons) in Business Economics.
