Greg McGregor has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Greg started their career as a Software Engineer at CelTech in 1987, where they were responsible for coding the database and credit card processing engine for a point-of-sale system. Greg then co-founded Telemac in 1990 and served as the VP of Engineering, helping the company grow to nearly 40 employees and generating significant revenue. At Loral Space Systems, Greg worked as a Principal Engineer and was responsible for all aspects of application software development. Greg then joined iBeam Broadcasting as the Acting VP, Dir R&D, and Sr. Developer, where they managed teams and designed a fault-tolerant network for video streaming media. Greg also worked as a Consultant at Telemac, assisting with a major wireless carrier integration. At Azoth Technologies, they co-founded the company and served as the CEO. Greg then joined Robert Half as an Architect Technical Lead, designing application servers and web sites. In 2005, they became the Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder of Validus Technologies Corporation, where they focused on biometric security solutions. Finally, Greg is currently the CEO of Bright Apps LLC, where they manage a team of engineers developing custom software solutions for clients, including fortune 500 companies, startups, and the U.S. government.
Greg McGregor earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Greg attended the university from 1986 to 1990.
