Barry Andersen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in network security and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at BrightAI since May 2021, Barry previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer at SmartThings from June 2017 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Unisys from August 2009 to June 2017, where Barry was a Senior Software Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of features for the Unisys Stealth network security software suite, as well as contributions to the ClearPath 2200 systems. Barry holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from the University of Minnesota.
