Khurram Naik is an accomplished legal professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in intellectual property law and legal recruiting. Currently serving as the Founder of Freshwater Counsel since June 2023, Khurram leads a legal recruiting agency specializing in elite biglaw talent. In addition, Khurram advises Juristat and Briefly, both focused on enhancing patent prosecution insights and automating RFP processes through AI. As the host of Khurram's Quorum, Khurram engages in deep discussions with successful lawyers about their career decisions. Previous roles include attorney positions at Goodwin and Polsinelli PC, where Khurram managed various aspects of patent litigation and trademark protection. Khurram also gained valuable experience as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a BS from Carnegie Mellon University.
