Yee Chow has been in the software engineering industry since 2008. Yee began their career as a Web Development Manager for Quintessentially. Yee then moved on to become a Ruby on Rails Developer for Globrix in 2008. In 2011, they joined Geo-Integration Co. Ltd. as a Python Developer, where they built a working prototype of an HTML5 public transportation app with Google App Engine and developed Labview-based geophone seismic data analysis software. In 2012, they worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer for HouseTrip SA. In 2015, they became a Ruby on Rails Developer for AOL. Yee then moved on to become a Senior Ruby Developer for Citizens Advice in 2016. Most recently, they were hired as a Senior Software Engineer for BRIDJ Technology in 2022.

Yee Chow's education history includes an incomplete PhD from Pohang University of Science and Technology in Machine Translation from 2013, an MRes from UCL in Molecular Modelling and Materials Science from 2010 to 2011, a Certificate from Asian Institute of Technology in Agricultural Systems and Engineering from 2009 to 2010, and a Certificate from Asian Institute of Technology in Energy Engineering from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Yee Chow has obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks, Sequence Models, Deep Learning Nanodegree, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects from Coursera and Udacity in 2018.
