Oscar Urias, PE, currently serves as an Electrical Engineer at Bridgers & Paxton, where responsibilities include managing design and troubleshooting power systems in buildings, with expertise in fault current, voltage drop, selective coordination, and arc flash calculations. Prior experience includes a role as Design Drafter at Alegro Engineering Ltd, leading coordination between electrical engineers, architects, and structural engineers, and participating in over 40 mechanical projects involving HVAC and plumbing. Oscar holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Power and Energy) from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with exchange programs in Electric Engineering at Hochschule Esslingen and at Mount Royal University.
