Joe A. Rodriguez has over 20 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles. Joe has worked as a Consultant at Bridgepoint Consulting since 2021, where they handle SEC reporting, SOX compliance, M&A, strategic planning, risk management, and technical accounting. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Finance & Accounting Consultant at GOTO CFO Consulting from 2015 to 2020, providing consulting services in accounting and financial reporting matters for corporate clients. Joe also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Gold Resource Corporation from 2013 to 2015, overseeing global finance, accounting, tax, internal controls, and IT. In addition, they have experience as a Corporate Controller at Gold Resource Corporation from 2009 to 2013, an Internal Audit Director at Apex Silver Mines Corp from 2007 to 2009, a Business Advisory Services Consultant at Hein & Associates from 2005 to 2007, and as CEO and Owner of J.A. Rodriguez, P.C., CPA from 2003 to 2005, where they provided SOX 404 compliance, SEC reporting, tax, audit, and bookkeeping services to corporate clients. Joe A. Rodriguez has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Sul Ross State University, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. In 1995, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Joe also holds a CPA certification from the Colorado State Board of Public Accountancy, which they obtained in 1998.

Joe has pursued further education in the field of Accounting and Finance. Joe attended the Wharton Executive Education program for the "Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling" in 2015 and for "Building High Performance Teams" in 2016. Joe also obtained a certificate in "Excellence in Corporate Governance" from Tulane University Law School in 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, they received a "Service Recognition Certificate" from CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in August 2019. Joe holds a Dale Carnegie - Skills for Success Certification from Dale Carnegie Training, obtained in November 2015. Joe is a Certified Member (CM) of the Financial Executives International (FEI), achieved in October 2015. In addition, they obtained a "Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling" certification from Wharton Executive Education in September 2017.
