Jorge Rios has been working in the field of entrepreneurship since 2011. Jorge began their career as Entrepreneurship and Leadership Coordinator at the City of San Pedro Institute of Youth, where they managed the budget provided by the city government. In 2008, they became a Professor at the Universidad de Monterrey. In 2013, they founded Twitt2Go, a technology company that provided software services for restaurants. In 2015, they joined the StartupBus Board of Directors. In 2019, they became an Alumnus of the Alchemist Accelerator, a venture-backed initiative focused on accelerating the development of seed-stage ventures. Jorge has been the CEO of Bridgefy since 2014.

Jorge Rios received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad de Monterrey in 2012, with a focus in Finance and Financial Management Services. Jorge had previously earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the same university in 2008, with a focus in International Relations and Commerce.
