Xiaoyi Zheng has a diverse work experience spanning various research roles and institutions. From 2022 to the present, they have been working as a Scientist at BriaCell Therapeutics Corp., focusing on the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines to stimulate the immune system and combat cancer. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Research Associate at Thomas Jefferson University, investigating the molecular mechanisms of radioimmunotherapy induced toxicity and potential elimination treatments.

Xiaoyi also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from 2013 to 2022, where they conducted research on diabetic nephropathy and identified inflammatory regulatory genes associated with disease progression. In addition, they worked as a Ph.D Research and Research Assistant at Temple University from 2007 to 2013, studying biomarkers for early cancer detection and serving as a Teaching Assistant for biology undergraduates.

Their career began with a student internship at Jilin University from November 2006 to March 2007. Overall, Xiaoyi Zheng has a strong background in cancer research, immunotherapy, and molecular biology.

Xiaoyi Zheng pursued their education in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Xiaoyi completed their Bachelor of Science degree from Jilin University between 2003 and 2007. Afterwards, they furthered their studies at Temple University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Cancer marker and its function/mechanism between the years 2007 and 2014.
