Brian Donegan has a diverse work experience background, starting in 2002 as a Jr. Funder at Courtesy Mortgage Company. Brian then worked as a Management Analyst at the City of San Diego in 2003. In 2004, they became a Manager of Financial Planning and Budgeting at Sallie Mae, where they managed the budgeting process and analyzed financial trends. From 2008 to 2009, Brian worked as a Finance Manager at Penn Traffic, where they performed financial analysis and created financial templates. Brian then worked as a Recruiting Manager at JAS Recruitment from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, Brian served as a Finance Lead at SRCTec, Inc. Finally, from 2014 to 2023, they worked as a Director of Finance at Carestream. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance at Baldwin Richardson Foods.

Brian Donegan completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from SUNY Geneseo.
