Ciaran Brett has extensive work experience in the field of football communications. Ciaran started their career at Sportsbeat/News Associates as a Trainee Journalist from October 2011 to August 2012. Ciaran then joined Brentford Football Club in July 2012 as a Media and Communications Officer, responsible for managing the club's social media presence and creating content across various platforms. Throughout their tenure, Ciaran achieved significant growth in the club's social media following and established the club on new platforms such as Vine, Instagram, Snapchat, and Periscope. Ciaran was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility, including Content Executive, Deputy Head of Communications, and Football Communications Manager. Most recently, Ciaran served as the Head of Football Communications, leading and developing Brentford's social media strategy in collaboration with the Football Department and off-field departments.
Ciaran Brett pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French and History from the University of Warwick between 2007 and 2011. Afterward, from 2011 to 2012, they further enhanced their academic background by earning a Master's Degree in Sports Journalism from St Mary's University College.
