Mubeen Abid has worked in various companies and positions since 2012. Mubeen started their career with internships in PTCL and Mobilink in 2012 and then Pak Elektron Limited in 2013. Mubeen later worked as an Admin Office Coordinator at Lahore High Court from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, Mubeen Abid joined SMEDA in a Management Position where they provided technical support to small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan on productivity enhancement and energy efficiency. In 2021, Mubeen Abid founded their own company, BreatheIO.

Mubeen Abid pursued their education from Divisional Public School Model Town Lahore for high school where they studied Science. Mubeen then went on to complete their Associate's Degree in Fsc (Pre Engineering) from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). Later, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan to gain knowledge in Accounting & Economics and became a Chartered Accountant. Mubeen proceeded to obtain a Bsc. Electrical Engineering Degree in Power, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Punjab. Mubeen Abid also supplemented their education with a Certified Internet Web Master certification from Skills College of IT. Later, they completed Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from IBA. Mubeen also obtained additional certifications, including Energy Efficiency Practitioner (EEP) from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Toyota Production System from Toyota Production Engineering Corporation. Mubeen Abid also attained Certification in Website design and Development from Govt. of Punjab.
